I have a feeling I've done this before, removing wallpaper I mean. Somehow it feels different though, like it was a different wall or something before. I could be imagining though.
The area is quite deep so my hand fits there well and it's not as high as it might seem. The hidden area is maybe only 15 cm high. Inside the valance thing goes the piping of the radiators.
