Hilsen fra Norge

I'm back! Greetings from Norway!

On our summer vacation we headed to Norway to see the amazing fjords. I had been to Norway when I was a kid but I did not remember much from there. A had been in north of Norway so this time we visited the south parts of Norway.

We took the ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm and drove from Stockholm to Oslo. In Oslo we spent one night and then drove to the North West area from Oslo where there are many fjords. We took an astronomical amount of pictures. All the places and views were just so amazing.

We drove a lot, but even with just the views it was worth the drive. Will show you more pictures of the mountains and the beautiful waterfalls later.

  1. Oh gorgeous! ill you frame some of your pictures and put them up? You really should! My husband has a funny saying: every time someone is sad or istful my husband ill say he or she is "pining for the fjords." I don't know here it is from--but I can see hy someone might long for them. Amazing!

    1. I have been thinking of getting one very big picture and frame that on the wall. But it's so hard to decide what is the best picture.

Have never heard of such a saying but it makes sense. I don't think there are many places in the world with those views.

  2. WOW! That's gorgeous. I bet it's hard to decide which picture, but a really big one would be so pretty on the wall! Can't wait to hear more about it and see more pictures.

    1. Norway is quite different to Denmark or Sweden, so it's definitely worth a visit. I loved Norway but Iceland is still number one on my travel list.

  4. I think Norway is the one Scandinavian country I have yet to visit. That sounds like an amazing road trip though (and I'm a big fan of road trips). Gorgeous images.
