Window washing

The best weather of the whole winter inspired me to clean all the windows. It was too cold to clean them from outside, but I washed all of the windows I could wash from the inside.

And it was about time, look at the rag, yack!

  1. Oh, washing our windows is something I need to do badly as well. But we have so many and I do not like to wash them. Once we get better weather I'll be cleaning them room by room...

PS. we had a little sneak peek of spring this weekend. With temperature well above freezing and the sun came out too.

  2. We don't have too many windows, but those have many layers. But I do like to clean windows, I like most cleaning things that are not done regularly.
Our temperatures have been quite cold, but on the sun it feels really warm. I have missed this type of winter weather.

  3. Things are starting to melt, here, finally, though it is treacherous with the freezing that recurs at night. Our windows--and curatins, too, need washing. You did great job. So nice to feel the sun through a clean window.

    1. On day time the sun melts the snow, but nights are here too very cold. I would really need to wash the curtains, I'm not sure when I've done so the last time.

  4. Oh, our windows are sooo dirty. And it is possibly one of my least favorite jobs since we now have three stories of windows (and storm windows on each one, which doubles the job). Want to come do ours? :)

    1. Wanna pay for the flight? :) I'm so happy we do not have storm windows, I once read about them and they seem like the worst idea ever (cleaning vise). We just have three layers of glass, which open usually like doors.

    2. Ha! Might be cheaper for us to hire a local... :)

The storm windows really are horrible. Unfortunately, they are a necessity in our house wherever we have the original windows as they are extremely drafty.
