On Saturday morning we woke up to this
We had a bit of a storm on friday and saturday night. And we got some more snow. Also wind was hard and the fluffy light snow formed into dunes. On Saturday our home was inside of one of those dunes.
To us the snow did not do any harm and later on Saturday we were able to chill the white wine in the snow dune. Handy.
How utterly gorgeous! Keep warm igloo girl!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, it really does feel like living in a igloo :)
DeleteThat's so beautiful. I love getting snow storms like that. And I love that you used the snow as a wine chiller! :)
ReplyDeleteI liked this storm too, especially since I did not have to drive that day. It is beautiful now and much more lighter. It was so dark before.
DeleteYou made my jaw drop and made me chuckle all in one post. First with the amount/height of the snow, then with your brilliant use of the snow with the wine bottle. And I love that to you this is "..a bit of a storm.."
ReplyDeleteThere were no serious accidents or any other catastrophes, some had power outage for few hours, but that's it, so yes it was just "bit of a storm".
DeleteMy jaw dropped too when I opened the curtains :D
The snow is so pretty. Love that you were able to turn it into something useful ;)
ReplyDeleteSometimes we also put snow in a bucket and then dip some bottles in there. Then the bucket is taken to sauna and we can enjoy cold drinks in sauna. I must take a picture of that oneday.
Deletethat is so beautiful! every year i wish for a white christmas but i think we've had only about three that i can remember!
ReplyDeleteWe have about half an half. Every other Christmas is white and every other pitch black. I'm happy this year seems to be white.
