New camera
Hihhey, we bought a new camera. We previously only had a point and shoot camera that was lacking some qualities that the DSLR cameras have. I used to shoot with a system camera long time ago when cameras were not digital. I'm afraid I've forgotten a lot from those days and I truly need some training. But here is a new project of mine, two stools, shot first with the old pocket camera and then with the new DSLR.
Sorry about the angle and distance not being exactly the same. And I'll show you more of the stool project later.
PS. If I use the word stool as a plural does it mean something like manure? I have a feeling it means something not nice. What is the plural of a stool?

Wow- what a difference that new camera makes. Is it very complex to use? PS- you'll be perfectly fine for saying 'stools' :-)
ReplyDeleteIt can be complex if you make it so, but the basics are pretty easy and it also has automatic mode. I hope I can make myself use the manual mode as much as possible so I learn.
DeleteStools stools stools :D
Wonderful camera! Looking forward to the project ith the stools. (Your instinct is somewhat correct: my mother uses "stools" as the "nice" word for excrement. --There's no alternative word as far as I know for the stools above.)
ReplyDeleteCool new camera. Stools is o.k. Only old people and dr.s use stool for the other meaning.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alana and Megan. It sounded so weird when I had written the word down, so I had to ask. Thanks for the replies.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new camera! I bought the same one a couple of weeks ago. Also got a book about the camera and digital photography. Already started shooting some things around the house...
ReplyDeleteOh you have the same! Now we can compare our pictures (No lets not!) :)
DeleteWe also have some book about about digital photography, unless we gave it away, I must find that.
